Recipe for Conimex Kerrie Sauce
Ajam Kerrie is a tasty recipe derived from the multifaceted Indonesian kitchen.
With this saucemix, assembled from carefully selected ingredients, you can quickly make a mild Javanese Curry Sauce, that will make this dish a culinary adventure.
Preparation of sauce:
Add 1 cup boiling water to the sauce mix.
Stir it completely to a glazed sauce.
Recipe for Ajam Kerrie:
Ingredients.
1 pound chicken (for example drumsticks)
salt, pepper
1 tsp. djahe (ground ginger)
1/2 cup mushrooms
lemon juice
4 Tbsp. ketjap manis
3 Tbsp. oil
1. Mix the djahe (ginger), salt and pepper with the ketjap.
2. Rub it in the chicken and marinate 10 minutes.
3. Fry the drumsticks in oil.
4. Bake the mushrooms, sliced and sprinkled with lemon juice.
5. Place the chicken with the mushrooms on a plate and cover with the warm sauce.
Serving suggestions:
Serve the Ajam Kerrie with white rice and kroepoek (shrimp crackers).
Add a fresh salad combined with fruit.
Variation:
You may substitute the mushrooms with other vegetables (peas, paprika) or fruit. (pineapple, bananas, raisings or mixed fruit).
