English Translation for Conimex Bahmi Goreng Recipe
Even though it originated from China, Bahmi is also popular in the Indonesian Kitchen.
This mix for Bahmi Goreng
contains carefully selected vegetables and a mix of eastern herbs and spices. Exactly in
the right combination, therefore your Bahmi has the authentic flavor.
Ingredients:
250 grams mie (Chinese noodles)
250 gram unsalted pork
50 grams ham (cubed)
1 bahmi packet and 300 grams vegetables of choice (onion, cabbage, leeks, etc.)
Sambal Oelek or Sambal Tjampoer
(to taste)
2 Tablespoons oil
Preparation:
1. Cook the mie (noodles)
2. Boil the ingredients of the packet in 100ml boiling water (10 min).
3. Fry the cubed meat until brown and cooked in the oil.
4. Add the boiled Mix for Bahmi
Goreng and 1 Tsp. sambal or
the Spanish peppers from the Bahmipacket.
5. Add the fresh vegetables and fry about 2 min.
6. Add the ham and the boiled mie and mix it completely, continually stirring.
Serving Suggestions:
Add Ketjap and Sambal to your taste.
Fry an omelet and serve the Bahmi with omelet strips and a sate portion.
Add atjar and kroepoek.
Variation Tip:
*Add a tastefully rich bahmi.
1 paprika and 1 container mushrooms.
*The ham can be exchanged for the same amount of shrimp.
*Make a fresh cucumber salad as a sidedish.
